I have loved Carbones since highschool. Great pizza! I love that it's a local shop. I was worried the remodel would change it but it's still the best pizza! The original counter is still there, but now it's a lot brighter and more airy. The pizza is still as good as ever, and you can still pick it up to go. The only way to improve this place is to offer delivery!

My family discovered Carbones Pizza on Randolph recently and It is now our favorite destination for eating out. Watch them make the pizza up front. Enjoy a frosty mug of root beer. Have DELICIOUS Pizza. Carbones!

This is what happens when all of your ingredients come out of a can. The food wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good. We tried a salad, a soup, and a pizza. None of it had any flavor. Service was okay. The most mundane experience of my life.

I 5 star Carbone's pizza because it's a cool place to hang out at and they just remodeled the place and it looks real nice more space to move around and brighter too. Me and my girlfriend go here alot real good food all around real good cheese bread with sause and I love the pizza too and they have one of my favorite beers here too grain belt nordeast. The staff is real cool got to know some of them from coming there alot got to talk to the owner a couple of times too. If you are looking for real good pizza with a friendly staff I would recommend coming here I think you will like it here.

Awesome dishes! Not only do they make great pizza, but they have calzones, salads, and plenty more great dishes. Service was very nice and friendly, and quick as well.

Great MN style pizza. Also check out the frozen prebaked pizzas. Great for the pandemic.

Sat outside on patio with the menu after letting host know i wanted to be seated outside. She said okay. Waited 10 minutes and host ignored serving me twice but served others next door who just came and sat next to me. Terrible and would not recommended for people because host did not even bring drinks afterward letting her know I wanted to seated outdoors. Bad host bad listening skills. Treat others fairly. 5 thumbs down.. booo

I love this place. Food is perfect for a pizza place. So took a friend for a birthday last night dec. 21, 2019. After being seated could not get service. Waiter stood at next table chatting for almost 15 minutes than left. My friend got up and hailed him. Had to locate someone to get a fork. Wait people just stabding around. Another run to get water. Finally after long wait got check. Gave up on psying. Went to front and paid. 0 tip. Hope owner finds and gets rid of this staff.Update. Went back. Owner was very helpful. Called. Listened. Tonight we gobbled an excellent thin crust pizza. Service was top notch. Place has a great family vibe. Food perfecto!!

Always get the same pizza,this one didn't have great toppings, the onions weren't flavorful just over powering and very stringy. The last several were 4 to 5 stars.Please select better tasting veggies.

Excellent pizza. Nicely remodeled old building. Great place to meet with friends or family.

Nice pizzas and reasonable prices however service can be sometimes a little too slow. Last time waited over 30 minutes after ordering for a basic pizza. Had to keep badgering the server to get an update on the food. Good service makes a difference!

This is hands down the best pizza place in town (if you like thin crust). It just got a remodel too and it looks amazing. I worked here, my sister worked here and my while family regards this as the best pizza place around.

Pizza is always delicious. New space is beautiful, and the new tables and chairs were great upgrades. A wonderful neighborhood pizza place. Would chug their tomato sauce if I could buy in bulk.

What great can't I say about Carbones! I love this place. I came here to the Randolph location on a cute little date with my son and his father and the food and service were just spectacular. We sat and watched the Twins game while sharing pizza and meatball subs. There is such a warm, family, comforting vibe that just makes you feel you're at home. I have been enjoying Carbones for 30 years now and have Never been disappointed. It simply perfect! The meatball subs had the perfect combination of cheese to sauce to meatball. The flavors complimented each other so well that it just melts in your mouth. Many try their hand at meatball subs, but Carbones knocks it out of the park! Most importantly, they have some of the BEST PIZZA in the Twin Cities! Get there and try it!

A Cute little Restaurant on Raymond Avenue in St. Paul...that has had a makeover and been remodeled recently!! I met up with my Cousins here and my Aunt and Uncle and they ordered the lunch special which was a salad and a small pizza!! It just smelled delicious and there were so many good toppings on their Pizza!! I had an Antipasto Salad which was very good!!

Super thin tasty crust, rich red sauce and perfectly proportioned ingredients. Home Run!

Solid old style pizza at this particular Carbones. In my opinion not all of their restaurants are equal in quality.

The pizza was tasty but we waited over 45 minutes for our single pizza. Two other parties that came in after us got their pizzas and had finished them by the time we got our order.

Very well organised and convenient place. They serve generous meals and for economical rates. We liked the food very much and the staff were super friendly and informative. I recommend this place.

The pizza is sliced in a unique way here, where the "slices" are more like individual cracker-sized pizza slices. The pizza doesn't particularly stick out from other pizzas, but by no means was it bad.

I drove my mother in law to St Paul to see her 2 sister's for most likely the last time. The are all in their 70's. Apparently they had been customer's since the place opened way back and they wanted to eat at Carbones one last time. I had never been there before. Although in their 70's, they can be quite RAMBUNCTIOUS. The waitresses had a great attitude and the Pizza was PHENOMENAL!!! I live in Grantsburg, Wisconsin and visit the VA often. Carbones will be on my to do list for now on because of the Food and the employee's. Thank you for everything today.

Amazing lunch specials and great staff. This is a unique Carbone's and one of my favorite in the whole twin cities. They have also added on in the last few years and the restaurant looks incredible.

So, this place is cute and has a friendly vibe. I prefer the location on east 7th, simply because the pizza is not so salty. Something is really salty about their pizza, not sure if its the sauce our cheese. Possibly even the toppings, idk.

Good pizza for the area.

I grew up near here and I remember coming here as a kid. When I heard it was being remodeled, I thought they might be ruining an institution, but this place has been totally transformed for the better after the remodel. However, the pizza is the same and as good as ever. Love the new space with the bar! I will definitely be back.

Food was mediocre. I have always enjoyed Carbones as a twin cities staple but pizza and cheese bread were way too salty and caesar salad was wilted and warm. Normally very happy with Carbones just not too many good experiences with this location.

Great pizza. And they have a gluten free cauliflower crust!

Our neighborhood pizza shop, excellent sauce and nice square-cut slices. Their frozen pizzas are a bargain.
